Big Media vs. Cookie Monster: Open Video & Sharing

Robots <3 Open Video

For the Open Video Alliance' 60 second video contest: contest.openvideoalliance.org

Open Video is creative freedom to make, share and experiment-- basically, things we took for granted as kids. Dancing robots seemed like a good way to express this childlike (in a good way!) ideal. A disclaimer: I'm teaching myself After Effects as I go, and this is my first project...

What is Open Video?

This short film introduces 'open video' as a movement away from corporate structures in the motion picture industry, towards creative and collaborative freedom.

Running just 1 minute long, the film was created by Qasim Virjee at designguru.org in January 2010 to be considered in competition by the Open Video Alliance.
